crescent core SNS Silver Corporation ("SNS" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SNS) is pleased to appoint Ms. Lisa Hardy as Chief Geologist. Ms. Lisa Hardy has been a staff and consulting geologist for metalsand mining companies for over twenty years. Ms. Hardy has extensiveexperience in exploration, development and production phases ofunderground metal mines, with an emphasis on sampling procedures,metals accounting, and resource evaluation of precious metalsdeposits. Between 1989 and 1993, she worked as a production orproject geologist at the Bunker Hill and Lucky Friday mines in theCoeur d'Alene mining district, and at Hecla's Golden Promise minein Republic, Washington. From 1993 to 2001, Ms. Hardy was SeniorMine Geologist at Sunshine Mining and Refining Company based in theCoeur d'Alene mining district. Currently, she is a director of OFMResearch, Inc., a private not-for-profit corporation founded topromote the study of mineral thermo chemistry. Lisa Hardy received an A.B. in Geological Sciences from CornellUniversity at Ithaca, NY in 1981, and a M.S. of Geology fromUniversity of Georgia at Athens, GA in 1987. Between 1981 and 1989,she primarily worked as a geologist and project geologist for DMBW,Inc., a mining and geology consulting firm based in Denver, CO.While with DMBW, she was involved in exploration drilling,reconnaissance sampling and numerous ore reserve evaluationprojects predominantly in the western U.S. Ms. Hardy is a Licensed Geologist in the state of Washington, and aFellow of the Geological Association of Canada. She is a pastpresident (1995-1996) of the Coeur d'Alene chapter of the Societyof Mining Engineers, and served (1998-2004) as a director of theBelt Association, a not-for-profit organization that promotes studyof the Proterozoic Belt Supergroup/Purcell Group in the westernU.S. and Canada. "I believe the Crescent Mine is the premierexploration property in the silver belt of the Coeur D'Alene MiningDistrict and I'm pleased to be joining the Crescent team at thisexciting stage in the program," Ms. Hardy said. Thomas Fudge, President and CEO of SNS, stated, "I am delightedthat Lisa has taken a leadership role in our geology department aswe move into the resource definition stage. We're well funded with10 million dollars in hand, we have great exploration targets andwe'll start definition drilling in June." Staff geologist Brian White, who lead the efforts resulting in theSouth Vein and Alhambra Vein discoveries last fall, will graduallycut back his involvement at the Crescent, but will continue tocontribute geologic expertise. He is very familiar with Ms. Hardy'swork and recommended her for the position. Mr. White said, "Lisahas vital experience and skills that are now essential at theCrescent. I'm really pleased she joined our team." Mr. Fudge went on to note, "Brian and Lisa make an outstandingteam. This combination will maintain continuity and enhance ourcapabilities while providing Brian with the time to re-engage hispassionate interest and on-going involvement in rock mechanicsresearch. Prior to joining SNS, Brian was a key member of a teaminvolved in innovative research on the mechanics of mining-inducedrock failure and rock bursting conducted at the NIOSH SpokaneResearch Laboratory."
